Jeremiah McKenzie – Drums, Vocals

Jeremiah is an accomplished musician who has been rocking Ohio and West Virginia for more than three decades. His musical journey started when he was eight years old, playing snare drum and drumset in concert band, marching band, pep band and jazz band throughout his formal school years. During his senior year of high school he taught himself to play guitar and later became the lead vocalist for the alternative rock band Stomach Monkeys. He also performed drums and backup vocals for the alternative rock band Lithiuwater. In college Jeremiah studied music theory and piano and sang tenor in the Acapella Singers. He also played drums in pep band and jazz ensemble at Ohio Valley University. While living in the dorms he recorded a solo album under the name SuperSonicHiFiAllStars titled “Windows to the Soul” and wrote and performed every instrument and vocal track himself. Summers found him performing as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the alternative rock band Forget Danny. Jeremiah spent fifteen years living in Parkersburg, West Virginia where he was the drummer and backup vocalist for local rock bands Modern Rage and Red7. Both bands became staples in the Mid Ohio Valley and played venues throughout the region for several years. Afterward he joined the acoustic trio The Lunchadors where he played rhythm guitar and provided both backup and lead vocals. The trio opened for Otherwise, Jared Weeks of Saving Abel, and country music artist David Nail. After returning to Ohio in 2018 Jeremiah became the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the Zanesville based classic rock and blues band Route 66.

Jeremiah is also a veteran audio engineer and producer. He co-owned and operated Studiohouse Productions, a project style recording studio in Parkersburg that worked with artists across the rock, rap, hip hop, pop and gospel genres. He served as producer, engineer and mastering lead for all clients who recorded with the studio. He also composed music and created full soundtracks for a short film titled Squatchin and three feature length films which include Khange Tha Game, Marrtown and No Knock List. He also worked as the head audio engineer and producer for The Basement Billionaire podcast.

Jeremiah spent twenty years working in broadcast radio and television as a production assistant, board operator, disc jockey on 103.1 The Bear WHBR FM in Parkersburg, program director and later as a Broadcast Engineer and Director of Engineering. He currently works as a Communications Systems Specialist in Public Safety for the City of Columbus, Ohio. He also serves as Music Director for Highway 103.7 Wide Open Country WZVL FM in Zanesville. In addition he provides remote IT management for Seven Mountains Media in Parkersburg and works as Chief Technical Officer for South60 Films which streams local high school athletics.

Outside of his technical and broadcasting work, Jeremiah owns and operates McKenzie Endeavors LLC which provides live sound and lighting for events along with professional DJ services for weddings, dances and community gatherings. He also runs the YouTube channel and travel blog Jeremiah Camps. Jeremiah lives in Pleasantville, Ohio with his beautiful wife Danielle. In his free time he enjoys music, football, working on his vehicles and serving in his church.
